2005 : Established We Bay Auctions, providing eBay consignment services tailored for local businesses.

2011 : Grew and introduced Brew City Auctions, a full service auction company providing liquidation services for estates and businesses. Our journey through consignment, auction, and estate liquidation fostered a deep passion for mid-century design and eclectic items.

2015 : Opened BC Modern to focus on our passion for vintage and mid-century modern goods. Each piece at BC Modern is meticulously curated, ensuring attention to detail and uniqueness.

2021 : Purchased our BC Modern home! Originally built in the 1960’s as Nordberg Credit Union, it served its members. Today, it is home to BC Modern, showcasing two floors (5,000 sq. feet) of vintage and mid-century treasures.

With roots in Milwaukee, Eric's seasoned journey as an auctioneer and pawn store owner blends seamlessly with Veronica's 25+ years of business management experience. Our shared passion for mid-century treasures culminates in Milwaukee's largest family-operated Black and Brown-owned vintage store.
Beyond our expert eye for vintage and design, we are proud parents to two daughters and two rescued pitties. Together, as a family we've transformed BC Modern into a magical space where our expertise, passion, and style converge, inviting vintage enthusiasts to explore a curated collection that resonates with our family's unique artistry and commitment to quality.
